Narijaona RAKOTOMAHALY

Rakotomahaly Narijaona (Nary) brings more than twenty five (25) years of experience in the aviation industry with significant knowledge of Fleet development, Business plan, Market study, Aircraft leasing, Aircraft economics, Route planning, Flight schedule analysis (technical and economic).

Prior to founding MAAC, Nary worked for Air Madagascar as:

IT – Engineering system project manager (at the beginning)

Route profitability analyst

Corporate performance analyst

E-ticketing project manager

Chargé de Mission – Financial Direction

Fleet development project manager

Corporate Business plan actor, responsible for fleet aspect

He holds an Engineer degree in Telecommunications from Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique d’Antananarivo – Madagascar and a DEUG in Mathematics from Faculté des Sciences – University of Madagascar.

After the University, he specialized in micro-computing hard & soft at IFCI (Institut de Formation et Conseil en Informatique) in Grenoble – France. He also studied Computer-Networking at Novel in Atlanta – USA.

Nary attended the Boeing « Airline Planning Seminar » in Johannesburg-South Africa in 2011 and the Airbus « Airline Marketing Seminar » in Antananarivo-Madagascar in 2014.

He attended IATA training, namely:

·         IATA Operational Cost Management in 2011

·         IATA Airline Route Profitability in 2010

He actively participated in the development of the Air Madagascar’s recovery plan with Luftansa Consulting in 2002.

He received his Executive Management Course certificate from INSCAE (Institut National des Sciences Comptables et d’Administration des Entreprises) – Madagascar in 2000.
